*All models: The floor is 1\2” x 1\2” hardware cloth supported by re-bar and allows droppings, water spills, and waste to pass through to the clean out drawer below (no chicks standing in poop or wet litter again). The deep dropping drawer holds more pine shavings and will catch scattered dander, feed dust, and splashes... simply line with newspaper and\or pine shavings. To clean dropping drawers, simply pull the drawer out, roll up the paper and pine shaving and throw away, re-line, and slide back in. No need to remove chicks to clean. If hardware cloth floor becomes soiled with dried on droppings, a few swipes with a wire brush will to the trick. Dropping drawers are made of 4MM Corrugated Poly and are water proof making them easy to clean and disinfect. On legs brooders are approximately 36” high. A solid front is recommended for better warm and less draft for newly hatched chicks. Accommodation amounts vary slightly with species and how long chicks will need to be brooded. Completed with a top cover and dropping drawer.
Six foot Model: 74” long and 24” deep front to back. It is 14.5” deep in the front and 22' in the back. Accommodates 50-65 chicks
Three foot Model: 36” long x 24'' deep front to back. It is 14.5” deep in the front and 22” in the back. Accommodates 24-30 chicks.
Mini Model: 24” long x 18” deep from front to back. 14.5” deep in the front and 22” in the back. Accommodates 10-15 chicks.
Table Top Model: 24” long x 18” deep from front to back and sits on table top fro convenience and monitoring. Is 9” deep and accommodates 10-15 chicks. Comes with a clamp on fixture for providing warmth using a standard household light bulb.
Hutch Top Model: Both top and bottom are 36” long x 24” deep front to back. And is pegged\stacked like a bunk bed making for a stable unit yet easy to be lifted off. It is also set back to make easy access to the bottom unit. Bottom and top each accommodate 24-30 chicks. It is 14.5” deep in the front and 19” in the back. The Hutch top is like having two three foot brooders in the same floor space. Brood chicks in the bottom unit and transition to the top unit as they grow.
