Merle, the owner of Green Pastures Farm, has had a passion for gardening and raising animals since he was young. One of his earliest childhood chores was gathering eggs, which sparked his lifelong love for farming. After purchasing the farm in 2017, Merle’s mission has been to serve his community by providing fresh, organic vegetables that are both delicious and sustainable.

In November 2025, Merle and Bethany celebrated their wedding, marking a new chapter in their journey together. At Green Pastures, we believe in building relationships with our customers. We love meeting you in person, so stop by to grab your veggies and say hello!

Gerald, is the farm manager and takes care of growing the different crops. He makes sure all the different tasks get completed that involve the growth of plants and animals. He has a background of farming and takes interest in soil health and plants. We are so glad to have Gerald on the team.

Jaxon, is a jack of all trades around the farm, from harvesting lettuce, picking, and pruning tomatoes. He also does a good job with keeping all the chickens fed and watered, cleaning out chicken pens, and whatever else is asked of him. Thanks to Jaxon for being a part of the team.

Phillip, is our lettuce house manager and makes sure all the lettuce gets harvested and planted. He does a good job at growing all the greens that everyone loves. We are glad Phillip is part of the Green Pasture Farm team.
