Merle, owner of Green Pastures Farm, has enjoyed gardening and raising animals since a very young age. In fact, one of his first chores as a child was gathering eggs. Since buying his farm in 2017 his desire and passion is to serve the community by providing fresh, delicious, and organic vegetables. He loves to meet his customers so stop in for your veggies and say hi!

Katy, Merle’s younger sister, is our ever faithful and dedicated to helping whenever we need her. Planting & harvesting lettuce, washing totes & trays, getting orders together, and helping customers are just a few of the things she’s involved with. when she’s not working she enjoys taking care of her many houseplants.

Wayne, has a willing helping hand and does a great job doing odds and ends that the rest of us just don’t seem to find time to do and is the go to guy for keeping the store running when we have a family vacation or just need a day off and always finds something to wash or clean to keep the farm tidy.

Jaxon, is a jack of all trades around the farm, from harvesting lettuce, picking and pruning tomatoes. He also does a good job with keeping all the chickens fed and watered, cleaning out chicken pens and whatever else is asked of him. Thanks to Jaxon for being a part of the team.

Megans main role here at the farm is helping with the lettuce greenhouse. This includes harvesting, seeding, and washing the many growing channels each week. You may also find her in the store checking customer out. We are glad to have her on the team.
